Question:

I am having difficulties running a degree evaluation for my major?

Answer:

If you are still a "pre" major, such as pre-communication, pre-business, or pre-education, you must run a "what if" scenario.  (Since you will not graduate as a pre-major, you can not run a degree evaluation on a pre-major.)  For a detailed tutorial on running a "what if" scenario degree evaluation, click on this link.  "What if" scenario degree evaluation.

Question:

My major is undecided.  How can I get my own degree evaluation?

Question:

On my own automated degree audit I notice that certain requirements I thought were fulfilled are still showing up as missing.  What do I do?

Answer:

You must get approval for a Course Substitution.  An approved Course Substitution will authorize the use of one particular course for another.

You can obtain a Course Substitution Request form from the Registrar's website (www.ccsu.edu/registrar/form.htm) or in person at the Registrar's Office in Davidson Hall, room 116.  The form must be approved by the chairpersons of the courses involved and by the student's academic dean.  The form can then be forwarded to the Registrar's Office.

Question:

I have questions about the specific degree requirements and courses involved.  Who can I talk to?

Answer:

You should talk to your advisor about the requirements and courses.  Arrange an appointment to meet with your advisor and review the degree evaluation.  Remember that your advisor can run your degree evaluation as well.

Question:

I am having trouble running a degree evaluation...I keep getting error messages.  Who can I talk to?

Answer:

You should call the Registrar's Office at 860-832-2236 during regular business hours.  We can help walk you through running a degree evaluation.

Question:

Once I have completed all the degree requirements listed on my degree evaluation, what else do I need to do?

Answer:

You must still apply for graduation by filling out the Application For Graduation form (located on the Registrar's website www.ccsu.edu/registrar/form.htm or in the lobby of the Registrar's Office in Davidson Hall room 116).  You should fill out the Application For Graduation one year prior to graduation.

Question:

What if I am using program requirements from a catalog prior to Fall 2001?

Answer:

The online degree evaluation is available to students who were admitted for Fall 2001 or later.  If you were admitted prior to Fall 2001, see your academic advisor for a degree evaluation.

Question:

What does CAPP mean?

Answer:
