About the Center
The U.S.-China Center was founded in 2002 as a resource for CCSU and Connecticut in building stronger relationships between the University, Connecticut and the People’s Republic of China. The Center is operating under the umbrella of the Center for Public Policy and Social Research and offers professional training programs on contemporary issues, sponsors academic exchange and provides assistance to Connecticut businesses and organizations making connections in China. We work closely with Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development, Connecticut Chinese Culture Center and the Connecticut China Council and provide information and services to organizations that want to engage in business or other activities between China and Connecticut. Our center is fully bilingual and our staff has many years of experience working in and with China.
