Introduction to Lean – On-Line Program


Course Description:
Overview of the fundamental principles, tools and processes of manufacturing, management and philosophy of Lean Manufacturing. Provides participants with terminology and operational knowledge of Lean practices necessary for initial implementation.  Topics include:  Lean “Rules in Use”, Value Stream Mapping, Flow Production, Cellular Manufacturing, Pull Systems, Load Leveling, Standard Work, 5S & Visual Management, Total Productive Maintenance and Kaizen.
