Sunday Maintenance – Reminder
Every Sunday, between 12:00am – 12:00pm, all systems will be intermittently unavailable while important maintenance and updates are performed.
Windows XP No Longer Supported
Please be advised that as of April 8th, Microsoft no longer supports the Windows XP operating system. Over time, these computers will become increasingly vulnerable to security threats.
If you have any University owned computers still running Windows XP, please contact the IT Help Desk.

Summer Course Preparation and Training Opportunities
As you prepare your summer courses and consider revising content or creating new content, please feel free to make an appointment with the IDTRC for any consultation and/or training you may need. IDTRC staff are here to help enhance your courses with learning objects, including video, screen casting, etc. In addition, one-on-one or group training is available on the following Bb Learn topics:

- Grade Center
- Kaltura Video

Heartbleed Encryption Bug
This latest security threat is one of the biggest threats the Internet has ever seen, primarily affecting systems using open SSL. CCSU’s Information Technology department has addressed this threat internally however, if you use any online systems such as Google, Facebook or Dropbox, it is recommended that you change your password. Click here for a complete list of online systems to see if you need to take any action to protect your identity.
Blackboard Learn Summer and Fall Course Shells Halted During Peak Registration Period
The Summer and Fall 2014 course shell creation process, and corresponding enrollments, is currently halted until April 21. This is to ensure a smooth registration process for our students. It will resume on April 22.
