 Mission

The Mosaic Center is aimed at providing the CCSU community with educational resources, advising, a venue for intellectual discussions, and programming with an emphasis on furthering multicultural awareness and education.

 History

The Mosaic Center was established in 1998 by the Student Union Board of Governors (SUBOG). It highlights the importance that the Department of the Student Center and the Department of Student Activities/Leadership Development place on the need for inclusion and cultural competency. The word “mosaic” refers to the process of making pictures or designs by the inlaying of bits of colored glass or stones. The Mosaic Center has embodied this idea by creating a space that celebrates multiculturalism and diversity for the educational benefit of all members of the CCSU community.
