Note from Dean Zdzislaw Kremens

My dream is to forge the premier school of undergraduate engineering education in the Northeast, and we are well positioned to achieve that. For example:
• Our School has become a vital resource in responding to the workforce needs of our state and nation, particularly in STEM areas--science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
• Our proactive outreach program sponsors annual robotics competitions for middle and high school students, brings middle school girls to work with Central women in our labs, and provides scholarships to the top students in local high school STEM academies.
• We are recruiting some of the best and brightest to our School, and we place particular emphasis on providing opportunity to promising students of limited financial means.
• Our students work hard in labs with mechanical, electronic, and robotic equipment. Going well beyond computer simulation, student teams design, shape, and weld to build race cars and other creations for national competitions.

But we need your help to recruit students, support hands-on projects, and provide student scholarships. A gift of any size to Central's annual fund will make a big difference and will help ensure the success of the next generation of hard-working engineers.

With deep gratitude,
Dr. Zdzislaw B. Kremens, Dean
School of Engineering and Technology

P.S. With your help, our talented students will thrive at Central and beyond!
