NEASC 2018 Self-Study

In the summer of 2018, the New England Association of Schools and Colleges changed their name to the New England Commission of Higher Education. This change happened after documents and the website were finalized for Central’s site visit and 10-year report.

Central Connecticut State University is currently undergoing a 10-year review for the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE), Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (CIHE).

Committees made up of Central faculty, staff and students have developed a self-study, comprising three sections: documentation, appraisal, and projection.

The self-study is required to show how Central meets or exceeds each of the nine standards. NEASC Standards for Accreditation.

A NEASC-appointed team will conduct a site visit at Central beginning September 23.
