Event Videotaping Request Information
Important information about videotaping requests
The Media Center video staff will make every effort to assign a student to tape your event upon request. In the event that no one is available to work your event Media Center will offer training to you or your group in order for you to facilitate the taping of the event on your own. To make a request for the videotaping of your event, please submit the form below with all the appropriate information.
Please Note: In the case of a room booked through Event Management or the Reservation Office, the Media Center will add the cost of student labor to the Event Management or Reservation Office bill. While there is no charge for equipment for an academic event labor costs will still be incurred. Academic events occurring within a classroom during a regularly scheduled University class meeting will not incur any equipment or labor costs from Media Center.
*IMPORTANT: SD Memory Card media MUST be supplied by the requesting party. The Media Center does not provide SD Memory Cards. Currently the Media Center uses minimum 16GB SD Memory Cards (approximately 2 hours of record time). SD Memory Cards should be supplied by you to teh student upon their arrival at teh event and the student will return the cards at the end of the event. We currently recommend class 8 or class 10 SDHC cards. For SD card information please visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital
