CARES Public Disclosure

Criteria required for public disclosure:

  1. An acknowledgement that the institution signed and returned to the Department the Certification and Agreement and the assurance that the institution has used, or intends to use, no less than 50 percent of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.   2. Method used to determine eligibility: Student to submit a FAFSA for the 2019-2020 Award Year and be TITLE IV eligible.
    1. Method used to determine amount awarded:
      The amount of money disbursed to students was determined using the methodology below:
      Each Full-Time, Non-Pell eligible student was disbursed $448; Full-Time Pell eligible students were disbursed an additional 40.4%, bringing the total disbursement to $629.
      Disbursements to students were rounded up to the nearest whole dollar.
      Part-Time students received prorated disbursements, based on credit hours billed, at a rate of 75% that of a Full-Time student.
      Undergraduate students are considered Full-Time when enrolled for 12 or more credits while graduate students are considered Full-Time when enrolled for 9 or more credits. These values were used in prorating the disbursements. For example, a Part-Time Undergraduate, non-Pell eligible student enrolled in 3 credits would be disbursed $84 (= 3/12*.75*448).
