Minor in Writing & Publishing (19 credits)

REQUIRED
Produce Blue Muse, the English Department's online literary magazine, learn to write across a range of digital platforms, and how to tell good fact-based stories using techniques more often associated with fiction. Minors in Writing & Publishing must take WRT370 (Creative Nonfiction I), WRT383 (Digital Platforms) and WRT384 (Publishing), but can select an additional nine credits of electives from a range of courses, including poetry, playwriting and fiction. This minor is ideal for students from any major eager to learn the ins and outs of writing well and editing and publishing skills. Most of the courses only require WRT110 or WRT105 (grade C- or higher) as a prerequisite.
