English - Minor in Writing Requirements

Minors in Writing at CCSU!

Minor in Writing & Publishing (19 credits)

Produce Blue Muse, the English Department's online literary magazine, learn to write across a range of digital platforms, and how to tell good fact-based stories using techniques more often associated with fiction. Minors in Writing & Publishing must take WRT370 (Creative Nonfiction I), WRT383 (Digital Platforms) and WRT384 (Publishing), but can select an additional nine credits of electives from a range of courses, including poetry, playwriting and fiction.
