The Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Central Connecticut State University is instrumental in preparing future educators in Connecticut and the continued learning for those already teaching in the field.
At the undergraduate level, the Department provides courses in Educational Foundations and Teacher Preparation. At the graduate level, the Department offers a Master of Science in Teacher Leadership with concentration in Policy Studies. The department also coordinates the Master’s in Teaching (MAT) program.
The Department includes 5 full time education faculty and collaborates with faculty from across the university in the delivery of CCSU’s education preparation Professional Program that leads to teacher certification in Connecticut.
