Employers with Experiential Learning opportunities of any type can arrange to meet with our students and recent alumnae on our campus during the fall and spring semesters. Listed below are the options available for On-Campus Recruiting:
Fall and Spring Career Fair
A great opportunity to meet with students and recent alumnae seeking a job. A chance to meet with a large number of potential applicants and provide information about your company and available positions.
Let's Go to the CDO
Similar to a career fair, Let's Go to the CDO allows a limited number of employers (usually no more than 10 per event) to meet with students on campus near the Career Development Office on a casual basis. Dates are scheduled once a month for a two-hour program throughout the academic year and takes place in a high traffic area of our new state of the art building, Willard DiLoreto Hall. Students are invited to meet with representatives to discuss hiring needs while learning what potential companies may have to offer.
A tabling opportunity which is an individualized event similar to the Let's Go to the CDO Program because it allows various companies and organizations to spend time at Central Connecticut State University to introduce themselves, their businesses and services or products to the current students on campus. Reserve a space in this gathering place where all segments of the campus community—students, faculty, staff, alumni and guests—meet. Tables and chairs are provided in a high traffic area as a most convenient presentation mechanism for employers and the event is specifically scheduled for their convenience. It easily allows for student interaction as students walk by on their way to and from class. This program can be promoted to students ahead of the visit and scheduled any time during the academic year in either Willard DiLoreto Hall or the Student Center.
Information Session Reservation
Allow potential applicants to learn more about your organization and meet company representatives in a less formal situation than an interview. This program may also be provided virtually. A university platform account will be required.
An efficient and effective opportunity for you to begin recruiting for your organization. The Career Development Office provides various employers with the opportunity to conduct on-campus interviews with current students. Employers may reserve private space to meet selected students who fit the criteria for positions in their company. CDO does most of the work for you!
