Get Involved at CCSU!

Experiential education means learning, engaging, reflecting, integrating.

Students can access opportunities to engage with communities through our Center for Community Engagement and Social Research, building reciprocal relationships with partners and gaining skills through collaboration. This can take place through volunteer opportunities, service learning experiences, community engagement practices, internships or research. Let us help guide you to get the most out of your education and the best return on your college investment.

  • Are you interested in an internship?
  • Do you want to volunteer in the community?
  • Would you like to engage more with the local community?
  • Are you a member of a club or organization and want to create a service learning event?
  • Would you like to gain research experience by working on faculty projects that engage the community?
  • Having trouble locating courses that integrate experiences into the classroom?

We can help! Click on the appropriate tab or send us an email at communityengagement@ccsu.edu, and don’t forget to sign up for our mailing list here.
