Airbridge/EOP/Honors Passport to Global Citizenship Chinese Class
Confucius Institute and the Center for International Education co-sponsor/co-fund the Passport to Global Citizenship program, which sends EOP students (who started at CCSU under its Educational Opportunity Program), Airbridge students (who started at CCSU under the Airbridge program after Hurricane Maria devastated the island of Puerto Rico), and Honors Program students to China for ten days. After learning Chinese at spring semester of 2015, the first program was successfully launched at May 2015, and continued to run through 2018. The program will be returning for Spring 2020, and is a comprehensive, door-to-door program that addresses all travel needs. The Passport to Global Citizenship will offer an extensive exposure to, and interaction with Chinese language and culture, and the program host in China is our partner school, Shandong Normal University.
