Operational Scholarships

Donors may support student scholarships through non-endowment contributions, through either one-time gifts or through regular annual gifts designated for operational scholarships.  Awards are made in the name of the donor and may be merit-based, need-based, or a combination of the two. Scholarship recipients must be matriculated students, but can be full- or part-time, first-year or continuing, undergraduate or graduate.  Through these kinds of gifts, donors can contribute to academic excellence and student recognition in an area that reflect their current interests. Operational scholarships made in the name of the donor may be in any amount greater than $1,000.
