CCSU Summer Bridges Program 2021

A College Readiness Program to Jump-start Your CCSU Career!

The Summer Bridges Program prepares participating students for the challenging transition from high school to college during the summer between high school graduation and fall matriculation.  Activities are designed to help students get to know classmates, faculty, and campus, as well as to learn about college life and the resources available to help students make the most of it.  The program includes our Math Foundations course to strengthen understanding of concepts in arithmetic, geometry, and algebra that are essential to college-level math courses.  Students gain confidence as they broaden their computational, reasoning, and communication skills.

All first-year students must be confirmed AND must have SAT, ACT, or a placement exam to register.  See the “Who is eligible?” link for the math-placement scores that determine eligibility for the program. Participating students must also be sure to schedule a First-Year Orientation session that does not conflict with the Bridges Program.

We are currently working to develop a Summer Bridges Program for the Summer of 2021.  Please return to this site for updates throughout the spring.  We hope you’ll join us!
