United Sisters Leadership & Support Group
The experiences, the challenges, the intelligence, the beauty, the empowerment and the resilience of BIWOC come together each week to discuss current topics, self-care, leadership opportunities and navigation of this world to ensure the success of the BIWOC at CCSU. Join us as we form a sisterhood that will provide support, tears, laughter and cheers for any issues one may encounter while earning their degree.

LLPD is here to create a sisterhood environment that fosters personal growth and leadership development by supporting each other in dealing with challenges and celebrating our accomplishments. Latina Students' Support Group
Every Wednesday, 1:30 - 2:30PM
Women's Center Lounge, Student Center Room 216
The Latina Students' Support Group goal is to support participants to successfully adjust to college life and effectively use their college experience to obtain their educational and career goals. Getting together as Latina women is an ideal way for group members to help one another to address the unique challenges faced while completing a higher education. Group discussion will explore family issues/pressure, peer pressure, interpersonal relationships, social vs. academic life, social stigma and stereotypes. The group will be a safe place to bring your concerns in a supportive and caring environment.
It Takes A Village Student-Parent Support Group
At a time when COVID-19 has us all stressed with uncertainty about our jobs, health, and schooling. The Women's Center wants all student-parents to know we are here to support you! Please join our virtual group to vent, talk, strategize, and network with other student-parents.
