Availability of Campus Security Report

The Central Connecticut State University Campus Security Report (Clery Report) is prepared annually pursuant to federal law (i.e., the “Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998” and subsequent amendments). The Report is now available onlineHard copies may be obtained by contacting the CCSU Police Department at Police Headquarters on Pikiell Lane.

About the Clery Report

The Report contains not only statistics on specified crimes reported over the previous three years, but also specific information pertaining to campus security, alcohol and drug policies, sexual assault prevention and response, victims’ assistance programs, missing person reports, crime prevention and campus resources. Policies and procedures for campus wide notifications and emergency response and evacuation are also included, and the Fire Safety Report section responds to new requirements to provide statistical information on fire incidents, and to describe fire safety systems in campus housing, fire safety education activities and fire prevention policies. Note: The crime statistics are only for certain crimes which occurred on campus, in off campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University, or on public property adjacent to campus.

All members of the campus community are encouraged to report crimes to the CCSU Police Department at (860) 832-2375. Emergencies or situations that may pose an immediate or ongoing threat to the health and safety of our students, employees and visitors should immediately be reported by dialing 9-1-1, or by using one of the call boxes located throughout the campus.
