Dining Services
CCSU Dining Services prepared a great plan for Fall 2020 food service. Meal options will include dine-in, carry-out, and prepackaged foods. Check out the latest news and updates from Dining Services here, and download the Bite app or text Text "Devil" to 82257 for more Dining Services updates, menus, announcements, events, and more.
First and foremost: Face coverings are required for all customers in all dining establishments when not seated. Please maintain 6 feet of social distancing space at all CCSU dining facilities (details below).
Residential Student Dining
Memorial Hall will operate at 50 percent capacity with limited seating. Additional outdoor seating and take-out options will be available. All previously self-serve stations will be operated by Dining Services staff. Hilltop Cafe is closed for the Fall 2020 semester.
Updated dining hall hours reflect the time needed to sanitize all touch points daily. All tables and chairs will be cleaned and sanitized after use.
All Cashier stations will offer touchless payment and campus ID scanning.
Commuter Dining
Due to COVID-19 social distancing requirements, the University cannot sell commuter
meal plans. However, Devil's Den, Starbucks, and Zime will reopen for the fall semester
to serve the entire campus community. The University will monitor the capacity of
the residential dining halls to determine if commuter meal plans can be sold later
in the semester. Please check back for updates.
Take-out options will be available at Memorial Hall.
All cashier stations will offer touchless payment and campus ID scanning; cash still will be accepted.
Retail Dining
Devil's Den will be a mostly cashless facility with touchless payment and campus ID scanning capabilities. (Note: Cash still will be accepted.) All Devil's Den purchases must be made on the in-house kiosks.
Food Court seating will be limited, but the outdoor picnic area will be open.
Devil's Den hours are posted here.
Safety Measures
Dining Services employees must wear masks and gloves and pass daily symptom and safe-temperature checks.
High-touch surfaces cleaned and sanitized after each customer and throughout the day.
Table cards will signal if a table has been cleaned and sanitized for customers.
To limit physical contact between staff and students, new technology will be installed to create touchless entryways.
