Blue Chip Cards

The Blue Chip card goes far at CCSU. It streamlines campus-related financial transactions and provides access to CCSU buildings and campus services. New Blue Chip Card

New students, faculty, and staff: Upload a personal photo from the shoulders up. Save the photo as a jpg and go to photoid.ccsu.edu. Log in with your BlueNet user ID and password and follow instructions on how to upload your photo. After uploading your photo, you will receive an e-mail shortly thereafter to tell you if your photo was accepted or rejected. If it was accepted, book an appointment online with the Card Office to confirm your identity and arrange to have your card mailed.

If you need to pick up your card we prefer you schedule an appointment to do so, but walk-ins are permitted. Please be aware scheduled appointments take priority.

If your photo was rejected, the e-mail will explain how to correct the issue and resubmit your photo. If you are unable to upload a photo the second time, send it to the person who sent you the rejection e-mail.

Current students, faculty, and staff: Those who need their Blue Chip Card reprinted should email a request to cardoffice@ccsu.edu from your CCSU email account. In the message, make sure to mention that you need a new card and the reason why (lost, damaged, stolen with case number, etc.) and please include your Banner ID; first and last name; phone number; and address to which the card should be mailed. If you need to pick up your card we prefer you schedule an appointment to do so, but walk-ins are permitted. Please be aware scheduled appointments take priority.

Scheduling an Appointment

In accordance with COVID-19 health and safety protocols, the Card Office must limit how many people enter the office. In-person Card Office services are available Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Only one person at a time will be allowed in the office, and all visitors must wear a mask.
