B.S. Accounting Learning Objectives

The Department of Accounting conducts a formal assessment of the following learning outcomes for the undergraduate Accounting Major:

  • AC1 Accounting Problem Solving - Students will have the ability to solve complex accounting problems including analysis, interpretation, and communication of results.
  • CS1 Communication Skills - Students will prepare and deliver an effective business document.
  • ES2 Ethics and Social Responsibility - Students identify the impact of business actions on multiple stakeholders.
  • TS1 Thinking Skills - Students identify appropriate issues for actions when faced with business situations
