Chief Operations Officer
Sal Cintorino is an alum of Central Connecticut State University and has over 35 years of experience in higher education. As the Chief Operations Officer he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the university. As a versatile member of the president’s executive team, he has direct administrative oversight for Athletics, Communications and Media, Construction Management, Environmental Health and Safety, Facilities Management, Marketing and Promotions, Police Department and Public Safety, and Technical Logistics for all major events on campus.
Mr. Cintorino has both his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Central. He also holds several credentials from the U.S Department of Homeland Security for emergency management and incident command.
