Student Government

The Student Government Association (SGA) is a student-led organization, which serves as a representative body for the undergraduate student population at Central Connecticut State University. As a student-elected body, SGA serves as the student’s voice, to promote their interests and well-being. SGA is comprised of two parts:   

  • Executive Board (E-Board)  
  • President 
  • Vice-President  
  • Treasurer 
  • Senate 
  • Senators, who oversee and maintain nine standing committees. 

In conjunction with both parts, SGA carries out duties such as: 

  • Hold and conduct student elections 
  • Funding for Clubs/ Organizations  
  • Organizing Social Gathering and Special Events  
  • And more
