Central Connecticut State University has fostered a strong sense of community, school spirit, and traditions that make up the full college experience. The Central Activities Network (CAN), a student-driven event planning organization, works closely with SA/LD to host many of the large-scale inclusive events for students, by students. Here are a few examples of what to expect!
- Weeks of Welcome events at the beginning of the Fall Semester
- Pep Rally and other school spirit events
- Homecoming & Family Day hosted in conjunction with the Central Blue Devil Football game
- Welcome Back Tour at the beginning of the Spring Semester
- Winter Formal and/or other dances
- Off-campus trips
- Spring Week events
- Spring Concert
CAN is not the only organization that hosts events, many clubs and organizations have their own traditions, conferences, and programs. Club and organization events can be found by logging into Club Central with your BlueNet username/password or by downloading the CORQ app and selecting Central Connecticut State University as your campus.
