NSTI program at CCSU is funded by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and managed by the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT). The goal of the program is to improve Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) skills by providing high school students, minority, young women, and disadvantaged youth with awareness regarding careers in transportation and to encourage them take transportation-related technical curricula in pursuit of a transportation career.
