Career Development Office

Central’s Career Development Office plays a pivotal role in helping ALL students learn how to pursue employment opportunities, including finding jobs on campus. We support all 12,000+ students – prospective and current undergraduate and graduate students, including First-Gen, international, and undocumented – and our alumni. Students and alumni are highly encouraged to search for jobs using Handshake, the online platform connecting job seekers to thousands of employers, including Central.

Through 1:1 appointments and class/club presentations, the Career Development Office assists with several services.

Faculty & Clubs: If you'd like to schedule a presentation or workshop, please email rossittop@ccsu.edu and in your message include subject matter/presentation type (i.e., resume reviews, choosing a major or career path etc.), preferred date and time, location, and number of students attending the presentation.
