- Final Friday Fling, May 5, 2006
The regular BMS Friday seminar series winds up with a bang this week, as students researchers in the BMS labs
take the stage and present their results for all to see. We'll kick off at the usual time (2 pm) in the usual
place (Copernicus 231) with short seminars by Frank Soucy and Ania Bolcun. Next, departmental awards will be...
well, awarded, followed by a dessert party. Kathy says she's got an even better recipe for cookies than her
classic version. Please join us
for a last get-together before finals, graduation, and goodbye!

- Want to Graduate? You'll Need an Exit Interview...
It is a formal requirement that all graduating BMS and Biochemistry majors (and minors) meet with a committee of
BMS faculty to complete the Portfolio Requirement. Students are asked to bring their Portfolio with them to the
interview and to share with this committee their opinion of their academic program, and their plans for the
future. If you are graduating in May of 2006 you MUST schedule an Interview now. (Dec 2006 graduates can be
interviewed now or in the Fall semester.) Interviews will be held on Tuesday, April 11 in NC 204. Please sign up
for a time on the sheet outside of NC 204. If you need to arrange a different interview date or time, please see
Tom King.
