Welcome to Central Connecticut State University's webpage for Freshmen Academic Advising and Orientation. All first-year students are required to attend an orientation program prior to the beginning of school. The orientation program is designed to assist you in gathering information about our learning community. Our orientation program will provide you the opportunity to begin connecting with the faculty and staff. Orientation will also provide the opportunity to meet your new classmates... some of whom will become life-long friends. Orientation Leaders, outstanding upper class students, will be available to guide you through Orientation.

Parents are encouraged to attend Orientation with their student. They will be provided sessions focusing on payment plans, housing and meal plan contracts, CCSU's academic system and tips for parenting a college student. All sessions offer the opportunity to ask questions of our dedicated faculty, staff and Orientation Leaders. Please use the links to the right for more information, paperwork, and forms.
