A
commitment to serving people in Connecticut has been CCSU’s central
purpose since it was founded in the middle of the nineteenth century.
Though the role and scope of the university have evolved over the years,
a set of core values have kept us intact over our more than 150-year
heritage. These core values include: Learning and Teaching,
Inquiry, Engagement, and Community.
