Smoking Policy

In keeping with the University’s goal to provide a safe and healthy work environment, and in conformance with Connecticut General Statute §31-40q(d), smoking is prohibited in all University owned or leased buildings and facilities.  University policy also prohibits smoking within 25 feet of all campus buildings, including residence halls.  This policy applies to students, employees, contractors, and campus visitors.
