Responsibilities:
ResNet Technicians, under the supervision of the ResNet Coordinator, will be working in the Residence Halls to assist in the configuration of a variety of desktop operating systems. This position will require you to interact with students and staff members in the Residence Halls at Central Connecticut State University.
Qualifications:
Background and/or familiarity with the operations of PCs and Macintosh computers in a network environment.
Experience with the installation and configuration of desktop operating systems Windows XP/2000 and Mac OS 10.
A positive attitude and the ability to interact and communicate effectively with your peers and provide good customer service.
A continuing degree or minor in Computer Science, Networking Technology, or Management Information Systems is preferred but not required.
Expectations:
Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours a week.
Promote the use of ResNet to its fullest potential.
Willingness to stay current with the technology that is related to ResNet.
Participation in the evaluation of the ResNet program, as well as making suggestions on how to improve any aspect of the program.
