MOVING IN TO CAMPUS
OPENING INFORMATION
The residence halls will open on Monday, January 21, 2008. Incoming students will check in between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. CLASSES WILL BEGIN ON Tuesday, January 22, 2008.
The Department of Residence Life strives to accommodate all requests for students seeking a specific residence hall. Unfortunately due to the demand for on campus housing, there are occasions when we are unable to honor the request of the desired housing facility. Students will have the opportunity to participate with a housing transfer process during the month of October which will allow them to be reassigned to another residence hall for the spring 2008 semester.
Students will find the University Guide Book useful and can answer questions regarding the on campus living experience. The acceptance of your housing assignment implies that you will accept and become familiar with the Department of Residence Life and University policies and procedures.
Roommate Notification:
Roommate notification should be received by January 16, 2008. Please wait for us to contact you. The assignments will not be available prior to January 16th.
Health Services:
All residence hall students must have a complete Health record on file with the University Health Service. The Health record must include MENOMUNE (meningitis Shot).
BILLING INFORMATION:
Fees and payment:
All housing fees are due on July 15, 2007. Please pay your fees by going to www.ccsu.edu and click on the Central pipeline page. Please note that there will be no bill sent to you in the mail and it is important for you to check for your bills on line.
Cancellation:
Please be aware that failure to pay the room fees by the specified due date will result in the cancellation of your residence hall room assignment.
Meal Plan:
We have new meal plans for the fall 2007 semester. Please check your billing to make sure you have selected the new meal pan of your choice. Meal plan choices are listed atwww.ccsudining.com. You may also change your meal plan of choice at www.ccsudining.com.
The last date to change your meal plan selection is September 4, 2007.
