James Hall was constructed in 1994 and is the largest coed residence hall with 415 students, primarily whom are upperclassmen. This unique suite-style residence hall offers three or four bedrooms with a common living room and bathroom. Each living room is furnished with a sofa, a bookshelf, and tables. Every bedroom includes cable and phone jacks. This is one of three halls that provide air conditioning and two computer labs for residents' use. This hall also provides a study lounge and recreation lounge. James Hall has a laundry facility located in the building. The laundry room contains ten washers and ten driers. The machines run off of the Blue Chip Debit system. Each laundry room contains a console where one can swipe their card and select the machine they want to use. The building mascot is the Jaguar.
