Be Where the Action Is - Live on Campus!
Our nine residence halls offer a comfortable, safe place to live and learn. You'll
be within easy walking distance to dining halls, classrooms, and on-campus entertainment.
You'll have access to free Wi-Fi, cable TV, four fitness centers, game rooms, study lounges. Even better,
you'll quickly make new friends and have the support you need to succeed in college.
Dear resident students,
After many hours of discussion about Barrows Hall going co-ed, due to popular demand
it will remain an all-women’s residence hall. That will enable the University to create
a robust and wide range of programming to promote our female students as leaders engaged
in addressing the challenges and opportunities for women on campus and in larger communities.
We expect to offer as well enriching programs in women’s health, education, and wellness.
CCSU’s Women’s Center and the Women’s Studies program are already developing programs
for the students in Barrows. We are very excited by the prospect of offering a distinctive
residence hall experience that has the potential to foster women who can lead in our
communities, in our state, and even in our nation in whatever field they choose.
If that renewed and enlarged focus excites you as much as it does us, we invite you
to join this new community by applying now during the ongoing room selection process.
You may contact us at Reslife@ccsu.edu or visit the Residence Life office in Mid-Campus Hall, Room 118.
