Spring Semester 2009
December 3, 2008 Spring 2009 registration begins for non-matriculated Part Time students
December 3, 2008 All Part Time students (matriculated and non-matriculated) registering for Spring 2009 via the web starting December 3, 2008 have payment due at the time of registration or courses will be automatically dropped
 
December 15, 2008 Spring 2009 Fees due date for all pre-registered students. Full Time students registering on or after this date will be required to make payment at time of registration
 
January 19, 2009 Martin Luther King Day-No classes
January 26, 2009 Classes begin;

Last day for Full Time students to drop completely from the University with 100% refund
 
January 26- February 2, 2009 Add/Drop period for all students
CentralPipeline available
February 2, 2009 Last day to change from Part Time to Full Time status;

Last day for Part Time students to drop with 100% refund (Full Semester and First Eight Week course)
 
February 3 - 17, 2009 Full Time students must fill out a drop form to drop a course.  They may not go below Full Time without becoming Part Time and losing Health Insurance and potentially losing Financial Aid.
 
February 4, 2009 Last day to declare Pass/Fail and Audit options
 (First Eight Week courses)
 
February 9, 2009 Last day for Full Time students to withdraw completely from the University with 60% refund;

Last day for Part Time students to drop with 50% refund (First Eight Week courses)
 
February 10 - 23, 2009 Withdrawal from First Eight Week courses, no approvals needed.  “W” grade entered for the course.
February 13 - 16, 2009

Presidents' Holiday Break - No classes

Last day to change from Full Time to Part Time status

Last day to declare Pass/Fail and Audit options

February 18 - March 20, 2009 Withdrawing from a semester-long course: All students need to complete and submit a withdrawal form and they will receive a “W” grade entered for the course

First Eight-Week courses end;
 

March 20, 2009 Undergraduate Incomplete grades from Fall 2008 & Summer 2008 turn to “F”;

Graduate Incomplete grades from Spring 2007 & Summer 2007 turn to “F”
March 21- May 23, 2009

Withdrawing from a semester-long course:  All students are required to submit a withdrawal form that requires approval of the professor, chairman and Dean. 
Completed forms go to the Registrar and “W” is entered.
