Making a Reservation Online:
The first time you visit the online reservation site, you will need to ask to create an account.  You will need to be an executive board member of a club or organization, or the member of a department authorized to make requests on behalf of your director or chairperson.
*Please keep in mind that this is only a request for space, and you will receive
communication from the CRO office stating whether or not you have the space, and
how to proceed.

How to Log In:

1)

Go to CCSU Event Calendar at http://today.ccsu.edu/virtualems

2)

Go to the "My Account" drop-down menu and choose "Create an Account"

3)

On your first visit, you will need to create an account and answer a few questions about who you are authorized to request scheduling facilities for. An Event Coordinator from Central Reservations Office (CRO) will approve your account. Once approved, you will be notified and then be able to request facilities.

4)

At your next visit (after hearing back that your account has been approved), you will follow steps 1 and 2 again, but instead of “Create an Account”, you will click “Log In” using your CCSU e-mail address and the password you requested on your first visit. If you forget your password, you can request it be sent to the email address you used to create your account.

5)

Once logged in, you can browse for a facility, make a request (see below), or search for events.  If you make a request, you will be notified when the event is confirmed via e-mail.  Until you receive this e-mail, you do not have the space booked.  Requests placed less than two working days prior to the event date will not be honored.

6)

At this time, you will only be able to request space in the Student Center.  Other facilities will be added as we expand the service.

7)

Please call Maria Santilli if you have questions at 860-832-1973, or email her at Santillimai@ccsu.edu . Do not call the Central Reservations Office.

How to Request the Reservation:

1)

Put in suggested information (Date, Time and filters if you have any specifics)

2)

Click “Find a Space” (The Virtual EMS Software will give you a list of rooms that meet your criteria, and do not violate the minimum time prior to the event date.)

3)

Select a room by clicking on the plus sign by the room’s name

4)

“Submit Reservation”

5)

The software will then ask you for some event information.

6)

You will receive a note stating that it was a request only, and that you will get a response from someone within 48 hours.
