The Governor's Summit on Preventing Urban Youth Violence: Creating Solutions through Innovative Collaborations Statewide

Criminal justice and public health state agencies and experts joined in a coalition at curbing urban youth violence at the Governor's Summit at CCSU. The purpose of the collaboration was to learn the best practices from a variety of experts with various perspectives and experiences. Rather than looking at the social problem from a criminal justice point of view, the issue was viewed as a public health concern.
