General Information Regarding CCSU Scholarships

Links to the various scholarships offered by the CCSU Foundation are currently inactive while we update all the information about the scholarships and enhance the online application process.  When reactivated, these links will open pages which will describe the scholarships that are available to students at Central Connecticut State University. For each scholarship listing there will be a brief description of the criteria for eligibility and special application instructions, if any.

The online application period will open on December 1.  Applications must be received by February 15th (unless otherwise noted) to be considered. In most cases, scholarship applications are reviewed annually in the spring semester and awarded for the following academic year.  The process takes place only once a year.

Students may apply for any scholarship for which they feel qualified. Copies of the application will be forwarded to the appropriate review committees where the selections are determined and then forwarded to the University Scholarship Committee for approval.

Scholarship award amounts vary and range anywhere from $100 to full in-state tuition.  Generally, scholarship awards of $1,000 or less are applied to fall semester charges.  Scholarship awards greater than $1,000 are normally split evenly between the fall and spring semesters.

NOTE:  In order to apply for these scholarships, you must be a matriculated student or accepted for admission as a matriculated student.  A CCSU ID# is required to complete the application.

The information contained on these pages is subject to change without notice.

The application period for the 2010-11 academic year will begin on December 1. 2009.
