E-Mail Access with a Smartphone, Blackberry, or Tablet
Faculty and Staff may synchronize a smartphone, Blackberry, or tablet with the CCSU Exchange server. Below are the typical settings these devices require in order to connect. For iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch instructions, click here.
Server Name: https://webmail.ccsu.edu/owa/ or https://webmail.ccsu.edu. Some devices require the "https://" while others do not.
Domain: ccsu_comp_srv
Username: Your BlueNet account username (this may be different than your e-mail address. Some users have an account username format of first and last initials followed by a random 4-digit number, while others have a combination of last name and first initial).
E-mail address: Your complete CCSU e-mail address, including the "@ccsu.edu"
The IT department provides limited support to help you with connecting a personally-owned device to our Exchange server. You may bring your device to Walk-In Support (click here for locations and hours) for assistance, but we may recommend that you contact your mobile service provider if we are unable to assist you with connecting successfully. If you have a CCSU-owned Blackberry or Smartphone, please contact the Telecommunications department for assistance.
Students: Your My.CCSU e-mail account is managed by Microsoft's Live@edu system. Please visit http://help.outlook.com/en-us/140/cc325690.aspx and follow the instructions located under Mobile Phones to set up your Blackberry or other smartphone.
