"A Night for the Children" is an "Empty Bowl" Fundraiser to support the Mayor's Workplan to End Homelessness in New Britain.

Ticket prices*:
Students: $10 ($12 at the door)
Non-students $18 ($20 at the door)

*A proceeds are given to the organization working to end hunger and homelessness, and guests keep their homemade bowls.

What is an Empty Bowl Dinner?
Artists, sculptors, students, and educators come together with the community to create handcrafted bowls.

In exchange for a cash donation*, guests
are invited to select a bowl and enjoy a simple meal of soup and bread among
other members of the community. The humble meal offered is an act of solidarity
to people who have limited means.

Community Central, students from the
CCSU School of Business, the CCSU Art Department, the CCSU Department of Design, student volunteers, and Vance Elementary School students have come together to organize what is sure to be a great night!
