Memorial Hall Food Service Improvements (CHEFA)
(Estimated Project Cost: $1,700,000)

Project Description
The project provides for interior renovations to Memorial Hall, the main food service facility on campus. It addresses code and operational issues.
This project would provide for general building infrastructure improvements such as upgrades to the sanitary, wastewater and domestic water distribution systems. Of particular concern is the age of the underground piping systems within the building footprint and concrete flooring. Most of the underground sanitary, water, and related floor drains that support the kitchen operations have deteriorated and are located under the main kitchen floors, making repairs costly, time consuming and disruptive.
