alumni magazine will be coming your
way soon. This issue features interesting
and provocative articles on Connecticut
in the Civil War, the evolving social
landscape of Northern Ireland, and
Connecticut’s drug policy, plus
alumni profiles, spring sports wrap
up, and a new column, the Alumni
Advisor, providing information you
can use.

2010 Doris Honig Guenter Women and
Film Festival, October 26-28

"Unlocked Images: Family, Warriors, and
Art"
October 26-28, Torp Theater, Davidson Hall
& New Britain Museum of American Art
This year’s festival features a selection
of international and US women directors
who are dealing with such diverse issues
as female war veterans from Iraq, children
of incarcerated parents and American-Indian
women who belong to the Mohawk tribe. In
all, 14 films will be shown. Each will also
feature in discussion led by a CCSU faculty
member, and three of the film directors
will speak about their films. For more information,
