Dr. Sarisley teaches structures and materials courses in the Construction Management program and is the laboratory coordinator for the Materials Testing Laboratory.

Industrial Experience:
Edward Sarisley has over 30 years of consulting engineering experience working for various architecural and engineering firms throughout the state in planning, design, and construction. Dr. Sarisley has been involved with structural design on comercial and industrial projects, as well as municipal, highway, and railroad projects on an international level. He has completed classified research for the U.S. Navy, worked as an engineering liaison for state projects, and serves as a structural consultant and an expert witness for structural and construction failures.
Research Interests:
Dr. Sarisley holds a U.S. patent for a prestress retention system for stress laminated timber bridges and has authored numerous publications and articles in the field. He has provided several workshops and presentations, and has recieved several distinctions, including:
