Experience:
Dr. Michele Dischino has experience in the utilities, graphic arts, and bioengineering fields. She has also worked with both middle- and high-school students. Originally from New York, Dr. Dischino recently completed her graduate studies in the McKay Orthopaedic Research Laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania, where she explored strategies to improve the outcome of tendon injuries through engineering. In addition to her research, she has coordinated educational outreach activities with West Philadelphia public schools and volunteered at the Franklin Institute Science Museum in Center City, Philadelphia.
