Tracing
the
Civil
Rights
Movement
|
|
This summer, CCSU students will have the opportunity to physically trace the nation’s civil rights movement in a course offered by African American Studies lecturer Stephen Balkaran. The class will travel to Alabama and Tennessee to explore such historically resonant cities as Montgomery, Birmingham, Selma, and Memphis.
