LGBT

The CCSU LGBT Center was established to increase campus awareness, understanding, and acceptance of its sexual and gender minority population. The LGBT Center hopes to encourage critical thinking about sexual and gender differences at CCSU and beyond by providing resources such as programming, networking, a literary and periodical library and referral services.

The Center will also help facilitate and coordinate training for the campus community regarding lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and ally inclusion, resources and services unique to CCSU. An approachable and consistently staffed safe space houses these resources, helping to promote affirmation of the minority population and a more hospitable campus climate. CCSU students, faculty, alumni and staff will compose an Advisory Board for the LGBT Center.

The Advisory Board may be contacted at the LGBT Center, located on the third floor of the Student Center, with questions or input regarding programming and resources.
