Getting Started with My.CCSU
Your My.CCSU e-mail is powered by Microsoft Outlook Live@edu. It provides you with a 10GB lifetime mailbox, accessed by going to www.outlook.com . Your "@my.ccsu.edu" address will be used as your official University e-mail address. Along with an e-mail address, you will receive a SkyDrive (online data storage) and many other tools.
CCSU has a University Policy on Electronic Student Communications that requires all CCSU students to have and use a CCSU sanctioned e-mail address. Your My.CCSU e-mail address will be used by the campus community to send important CCSU-related e-mail. It is the responsibility of the student to keep this e-mail address active.
** Your My.CCSU e-mail address needs to be activated at www.outlook.com before it can be used. If you do not know your My.CCSU e-mail address, go to https:/acccounts.ccsu.edu and log in with your Bluenet account username and password. The opening screen after log in will show your My.CCSU e-mail address.**
Activate your My.CCSU e-mail address:
- Open your web browser and navigate to www.outlook.com.
- Enter your “@my.ccsu.edu” e-mail address.
- Enter your initial password, which is your 8-digit CCSU ID number (found on your BlueChip ID Card).
- Click on Sign-in, then follow the prompts to complete the activation process and change your password.
If you have already activated your My.CCSU e-mail address:
- Open your web browser and navigate to www.outlook.com.
- Enter your "@my.ccsu.edu" e-mail address and the password you selected.
