Explore the valuable services that the Center for Advising and Career Exploration provides for students such as online tools, career exploration and assistance with finding full time positions, summer internships and cooperative education opportunities.
- Graduating students are provided assistance with making the transition to employment through a program which includes workshops on resume writing, interviewing techniques, job search strategies and information on employment. Recruiters from major area corporations, government agencies and school systems visit the campus as part of the year-long on-campus recruiting program.
- In addition, the office maintains listings of full-time and part-time jobs.
- Experiential education is a major focus for undergraduate students, and The Center for Advising and Career Exploration coordinates the Cooperative Education program, as well as listings of various Internship opportunities.
- Students may visit CACE to meet with an advisor for the purpose of reviewing their resume. Please bring a typed draft for review. If you need help writing your resume, take a look at our Resume Resource Packet. Resume Review is offered on a walk-in, first-come, first-served basis.
Local and regional employers offer employment opportunities to students and alumni through CACE. National job listings are also available to CCSU students and alumni through this office.
