The course offerings in Connecticut Technical Education are designed to prepare teachers of occupational subjects (skilled trades) and trade-related subjects for Connecticut's vocational-technical schools, teachers of trade and industrial occupational subjects for Comprehensive High Schools and health occupation educators for their State of Connecticut Certification. This Certification is obtained directly from the Connecticut Department of Education Bureau of Educator Preparation, Certification, Support and Assessment.
Is there an application process?
To begin CTE classes at Central you must submit an application to Continuing Education. Included should be a $25 fee.

Complete a registration form and return it to our office.
