Governance and Programming

Students can learn leadership skills by becoming involved in all facets of campus life. The Student Activities/Leadership Development office works with student governing bodies to produce activities programming, manage student funds, work on student chosen projects and issues. The Student Government Association (SGA), Student Union Board Of Governors (SUBOG), Central Activities Network (CAN) and Media Board, are all areas of student governing that you can become involved in.

The Women's Center and Mosaic Center work together on issues of diversity and gender and provide work and volunteer responsibilities in these areas.

Research shows, students who volunteer, get involved in clubs or organization activities or work on campus will be more successful in their academic pursuits and are more appealing candidates in the job market. Get Involved!
